How to identify whether my existing Campaign is Sequence or Broadcast
Is my Campaign Sequence or Broadcast? Four indicators.
Sequence allows you to build conditions composed of different Modules, Targets, and Profile Attributes, whereas in a Broadcast, any conditional logic occurs only within a single Voice Module.
This article explains how you can identify whether an existing campaign is a Broadcast or a Sequence.
There are several ways to tell the difference. I start with the easiest one:
- Go to View Campaigns and see if the Campaign uses one Module (clicking it takes you to Module) or Multiple (clicking it opens the Campaign).

- Another way is when you have opened the Campaign, the Type is mentioned in the Header.

- Third way is checking how many Stages there are in the Campaign Configuration and what are the names of those Tabs. Instead of Workflow-tab, Broadcast has a Content-tab which determines which single Module is used.

- Fourth indicator should be the Workflow and the Toolbar.
Broadcast doesn't have a Workflow, only Sequence Campaign and Voice Module do. If the Toolbar mentions other communication channels than just 1-way SMS and Voice Call Actions, it's pretty likely a Sequence Campaign.

Choosing the correct type from the start helps ensure your communication flow is clear, efficient, and aligned with your campaign goals. However, even if your current Campaign is Broadcast, converting it into Sequence only requires a bit of manual work and it isn't difficult task, thanks to Modules!
Note: If your scheduling process works via API, please note that each Campaign has a unifying ID. To ensure your backend system sends the correct API request, remember to update this field as well:
"campaign": {
"uuid": ""
}
Jointly planned and agreed naming conventions make your campaign architecture clear for all users. This makes it easier for you to edit settings and content and to continuously optimize your outreach strategies. If there are anything on the platform that causes confusion or friction, please let us know.
